Our Fees

Our Fees

Payment for our services

In return for placing business with insurers and/or other product providers, we generally receive a commission from them which is a percentage of the annual premium that you are charged.

You are entitled to request information regarding any commission which we may have received as a result of placing your insurance business or arranging premium finance. To ensure transparency, we have a mechanism in place where you can verify our commission structure and how it aligns with our responsibilities. Please be assured that at no time will the way in which we are remunerated conflict with our responsibilities to meet your needs and treat you fairly.

In addition to the premiums charged by the insurer, we do not apply any additional fees specifically for handling your insurance or arranging premium finance. However, we do apply fees to cover the overall administration involved in processing and setting up your policies.

These fees are outlined in the table below and will be agreed with you in advance:

These fees are in addition to your insurance premium, which includes Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) at the current rate. A ‘cooling-off’ period refers to a specific period during which you have the right to cancel your policy without any penalties; however, administrative fees may still apply.

We are committed to maintaining transparent and competitive administration fees, which may be reviewed and adjusted periodically to reflect rising operational costs, inflation, or other economic factors. While industry trends are considered, we strive to ensure that any increases are fair, reasonable, and aligned with typical market practices.

Whenever possible, advance notice of fee changes will be provided. Please note that certain fees, such as those for mid-term policy adjustments, may take effect immediately. Rest assured, you will always receive our latest terms of business—including any updated fee structures—before a new policy begins or an existing one is renewed.

An additional arrangement fee, not exceeding 25% of the premium, will be charged where we arrange products that typically have a lower commission or no commission at all. This fee will be agreed with you in advance and noted separately to the insurance premium.

You will receive a quotation, renewal invitation, or renewal recommendation which will tell you the total price to be paid and which identifies any taxes, fees, and charges separately from the premium before your insurance arrangements are concluded.

Full payment of premium and fees is due before cover commences or as otherwise stated under terms of credit, or in the debit note, invoice, or statement issued to you. Failure to pay the premium due will mean that your insurance policy might not commence or that it will be cancelled.
